Hope you’re all doing well and are feeling artistic these days! We have some updates to the studio that we think you may be interested in:
TEXTURED FINE ART PAPER
In the next month, we will start supplying a textured fine art paper! We’re still in the testing phase and we’d like some feedback. If textured paper is of interest to you, let us know and we may give you a free small test to get your opinion on the paper.
VC COTTON CANVAS NATURAL
Now available 58" roll, this 18-mil unbleached 100% cotton canvas with a clear, flexible print receptive coating provides a rustic, old world look and feel!
64” CANVAS AVAILABLE MARCH 21ST
We are so happy to announce that we can make your Gloss and Semi Matte canvas prints bigger as of March 21st! With the new available 64” canvas rolls, we can stretch up to 58” on the small side of your canvas.
INSTANT DRY CLEAR FILM
Want to print on clear film to create your own transparencies? We now have the perfect media for you! This 5-mil polyester film has an instant-dry, microporous coating formulated to provide rich, dense blacks. Do keep in mind, we don’t print white ink so any pure white areas will be completely transparent. Test it out today!
PRESENTATION PAPER
We’ve been receiving requests for printing protest signs. Since all of the paper and ink we have here is archival, it’s pricey for us to print. That is why we have decided to purchase some non-archival presentation paper to print on to keep costs down for you. Let us know if you or anyone else would be interested! For protest signs, we will be charging $3/sq.ft. – a 24”x30” would be only $15.
NEW ART IN THE STUDIO!
We are currently redecorating our studio walls with wonderful art prints from our clients that will all be available for purchase. Would you like one of your pieces on our walls? Let us know and if there is availability we will put you in! Won’t cost you a thing. You price your piece and if the piece sells, we will take out the retail price. We’ve had many people inquire about different artwork and we forward the artist the information so they can make arrangements for different sizes, artwork etc.
WOMEN’S STRIKE MARCH 8TH
Art Printer will be proudly participating in the International Women’s Strike (so we will be closed) on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, because—quite frankly—no one would be here without women. We will do our best to work twice as hard to compensate for the day off, but please do keep that in mind!
CELEBRATE WOMEN'S DAY
We will be at Gravlax celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8th from 5-11pm and we will be featuring a photo booth for the festivities! Feel free to join and participate by wearing red and/or dressing up as your favorite woman!
THE FUTURE OF ART PRINTER
The goal here at Art Printer is to help create a fun community in this area! We want to start featuring new artists every month, sponsor gallery shows in the area, teach art seminars, and have regular events. Let us know if this is of any interest to you, and perhaps we can figure out a way to work together!
