Art Printer High Resolution Files

Hello lovely clients,

W hope you are having a good summer! We’ve been keeping very busy and staying cool in the studio, but we had a little scare recently.

A few weeks ago we came in on a Monday morning and the hard drive where we store client files was not working. For those of you who don’t know, we do our best to hold on to files out of courtesy for our clients, but we do not guarantee them. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ARCHIVING YOUR FILES! Luckily, the files have been recovered, which gives you all a second chance to grab them!

In fact, if you come pick up your files (check with us to make sure we have them) in person with a mac friendly travel hard drive by 9/27/2019, we will give you $10 off your next order (good until 12/31/2019)! PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR FILES!

FAQ.png

What is the best way to keep my files archived?
We recommend to keep a copy of your files in two different places like your computer, external hard drives, and/or an online cloud service.

Why don’t you offer archiving files as a service?
We have THOUSANDS of clients and hundreds of thousands of files as is. We don’t have the manpower to implement a system that can guarantee that kind of storage. It’s too easy to make a mistake, save over something incorrectly, or accidentally misplace something when you’re dealing with that kind of quantity. We think it’s in our clients’ best interest to be in charge of their own files. We’re happy to hold on to your files for convenience sake, but we just cannot guarantee them.

Why don’t you just move your all of your files online with a service like Dropbox?
We currently have about 6 terabytes of client files. This small business finds it too expensive to move that route. Plus we worry about cyber security. We don’t want there to be any chance that your files could get into the wrong hands.

Why don’t you sell USB drives to your clients?
We’ve thought about this a lot, and have seriously considered it. Maybe in the future, but we currently do not off that in-store, sorry!

Happy to help.

We want to make sure that you have your files.  Call or email us with any questions.  We are here to help!

Labor Day Closure.png

One last thing.

We will be closed for Labor Day!

As always and forever, THANK YOU for supporting this small business. We are happy and proud to be in the business of helping artists reproduce their beautiful art.

Sincerely,
Art Printer Team
