Time is flying by faster than I can keep up! Last year was rough for the business with the Writer’s/Actor’s strike going on in our La La Land. I know a lot of you felt that, too. Luckily, this year has started off better. I hope it has for all of you as well!
We have some exciting updates at the studio… new team members, new ordering system and client art shows! Check out below for details.

New Online Ordering System NEXT WEEK!
We are launching our new online ordering system Wednesday, 4/10/2024! Some of the features include:
Ability to preview your image in real time, add text, borders and other edits
Ability to make an account so you can track the progress of your order online, reorder easily, and store projects for future purchasing
Online checkout with various payment options
Easy shipping options
There are over twenty sizes to choose from on all our most popular media! Don’t worry, you will still be able to use our current process to order custom sized prints and stretched canvas in the future.
This site will also give us the capability to connect with artist’s websites to allow Print on Demand. You’ll be able to leave the production and logistics to us so you can focus on being your creative self! More to come on this soon. We’re very excited :)
New Team Members!
You may have noticed a couple new friendly faces in the studio. Maggie Astle and Tyler Holtman have joined the team as our new image specialists alongside veteran employee and legend Nathan, our project manager extraordinaire Melissa, canvas stretching master Hector, and our social media wizard Jayson. Both Maggie and Tyler have extensive experience using Photoshop and have picked up the studio life quickly! Learn more about them and the rest of the Art Printer team below.
SURFRIDER FOUNDATION LOS ANGELES CHAPTER MEETING
We were delighted to host a Surfrider L.A. Chapter Meeting at our studio! Melissa is a regular volunteer with them, and Amanda joins in on beach cleanups when she can. The environment and sustainability is important to us all, and Surfrider is doing an amazing job by checking the water quality at the beaches, hosting clean ups, creating gardens, hosting regular beach clean ups, advocating for the environment at the highest levels, and more! Undercurrents by Caroline Gray
Lois Lambert Gallery from March 16-May 4, 2024
We had the pleasure of printing Caroline’s photographs from her series “Undercurrents”! This exhibition is named not only for the current of water moving in two directions below the surface, but also in reference to the underlying emotions in each image. Framing her underwater dancers with color, light, and movement, Gray creates mood and ephemeral beauty.
The exhibition is currently up so check it out in the Lois Lambert Gallery at Bergamot Station, Santa Monica.
